FEATURED EVENT • TACOMA, WASHINGTON
A look back at a real celebration at Edison Square in Tacoma — and one of the earlier photo booth experiences that helped shape the modern, interactive direction of Pebble today.
A REAL TACOMA EVENT
This Photo Booth Edison Square event brought guests together for the kind of spontaneous, funny, and completely unscripted photos that make a photo booth such a natural fit for celebrations.
Edison Square brings a distinctive character of its own to an event. The historic South Tacoma space has hosted weddings, receptions, parties, corporate gatherings, and community events, creating a setting that feels different from a traditional ballroom or hotel venue.
This celebration is part of our team's earlier photo booth work in Washington and represents some of the experience that eventually helped shape Pebble Photo Booths.
FROM OUR PHOTO BOOTH ARCHIVES
You'll notice something different in these photos. This event reflects an earlier generation of our photo booth experience, when traditional physical props and backdrops were part of the setup.
Pebble has since evolved toward cleaner, more modern experiences built around interactive photography, creative digital effects, AI transformations, custom content, video experiences, instant sharing, and personalized keepsakes.

A few moments from the celebration — playful, imperfect, spontaneous, and exactly what a photo booth should be.
THEN + NOW
The reason people love photo booths hasn't changed. Guests still want to laugh, create something together, and leave with a moment they wouldn't have captured anywhere else.
What has changed is what a photo booth can do.
Creative portraits, face swaps, themed effects, and imaginative photo experiences.
Short interactive transformations that turn a booth visit into something guests want to share.
Personalized visuals, magazine covers, trading cards, keepsakes, and event-specific designs.
Interactive experiences designed to fit naturally into today's weddings and events without relying on bulky prop tables or large traditional backdrops.
THE VENUE
Located on South Tacoma Way, Edison Square is a historic Tacoma gathering place originally built in 1919 as the Realart Theater. Today, the restored space hosts weddings, receptions, celebrations, corporate gatherings, markets, and community events.
Its mix of historic character and flexible event space makes it an especially memorable setting for couples and event hosts looking for something outside the traditional ballroom.
